As busy as I’ve been, I’ve still managed to find time to “play around” in the kitchen this week. Here are a few things so far.

  1. Apple Pizza – Great as an appetizer or a light meal when served with a soup or salad. This is what I consider a subtle blend of flavors: cumin, cinnamon, gala apples, meunster cheese, and grated parmesan cheese.
  2. Chunky Monkey-licious Muffins – I came up with this recipe after I decided that one of the most perfect flavor combinations is peanut butter, chocolate, and bananas. Yum!
  3. Asian Cucumber Salad – It’s a classic. SouthEast Asians like turning everything into salads by adding just the right level of sweet, sour, salty, and spiciness to it.
